マリメッコのチャリティーバッグ

マリメッコのストックホルム店で義援金キャンペーンのチャリティーバッグを見つけました。フィンランド国旗のブルーと日本国旗の赤を使ったウニッコの布製バッグです。クリスティーナ・イソラさんのサイン入りで「心を一つに」というメッセージが入っています。今回の大災害では、世界各国での暖かい支援がたくさんあり、日本人として心が温まります。マリメッコのチャリティーバッグもその思いを感じ、ついお買い上げしてしまいました。日本にバッグが寄付されてこちらより価格は安く販売されているようで、発売日に完売になるほどの人気のようですね。
ただいまマリメッコショップでは1000sek以上お買い上げの人には150sekのプレゼントカードがもらえるということで、ちょっと無理してお買い物をしてしまいました。そうしたらオレンジ色の布製ウニッコバッグもいただきました。マリメッコのデザインは大好きで、新バッグが出る度になにかしらゲットしているので、家中がマリメッコバッグだらけになっています。今回のチャリティーバッグは義援金を兼ねているので、まあいいかな。

マリメッコ60周年イベントはまだまだ続いています。昨日はストックホルム店にてブティックスタッフによる新作のファッションショーがありました。60年代のヴィンテージドレスを身にまとった長年のお得意様も登場し、マリメッコの世界を堪能しました。ファッションショーの様子を映像でアップしました。

ヴィンテージドレスを素敵に着こなしている女性たちは注目の的でした。マリメッコファンは年配の方が多いのですが、年を重ねてこそ素敵に着こなせるマリメッコファッションは大人の女性によく似合います。北欧らしいシンプルなシルバーアクセサリーと合わせ、タイムレスな北欧ファッションの美しさを再認識しました。
そして、マリメッコ60周年記念パターンYhdessäのTシャツが登場です。マイア・イソラのパターンをパッチワークにコラージュしたもので、マイアの娘であるクリスティーナ・イソラがデザインしたものです。アートファブリックとして販売されるようです。

マリメッコ60周年記念で、各ショップではお祝いモードのようです。ストックホルム店は今週土曜日(19日)の11時〜15時に記念のケーキをふるまってくれるようです。バックが当たるくじもあるようですよ！

さて、先週のファニチャーフェアウィークにはあちこちでいろいろなイベントがありましたが、マリメッコ60周年記念イベントもありました。マリメッコドレスを着てきてね、というメッセージをすっかり見落とし、普段着で出席してしまったのですが、会場にはヴィンテージドレスなどを身につけた女性たちが楽しげに集まっていました。ストックホルムのマリメッコは熟年層に人気ですが、皆様すてきにマリメッコドレスを着こなしていました。年を取るごとにますますマリメッコファンになりそうです。

その際にもうひとつ驚くことが！なんと昨年日本で販売されていたマリメッコムック本の英語版があったのです(画像参照)。メッセージを書いてくれたら差し上げます、とのことでさっそく書いて１冊もらってきました。ムック本はショップのみで販売するそうです。もうすぐ日本でも第２弾のムック本が発売になるようで、今度はデザイナー宅訪問の記事があり、ウニッコバックが付録につくらしい(確定ではないですが)ですよ。やっぱり日本のパワーってすごいかも。

1月7日〜29日まで、ストックホルムのマリメッコでバーゲンセールです。半額まで下がっているものもありますので、気に入ったものが見つかればお買い得ですね。年明けはストックホルムの街中がバーゲン一色となります。狙っていたものが安くなっているといいのですが、なかなか気に入ったものは残っていません。あってもサイズが合わないことが多かったりします。マリメッコは初日に行きましたが、今回は残念ながら収穫はなしでした。その分、他のブランドで気に入ったものがあれば手に入れたいと思っています。

上記映像はマリメッコのサイトで見つけた2011年春夏のコレクション発表のものです。この寒空に春の雰囲気を味わうのもいいですね。こちらは一部すでに店頭に出ているようです。春夏ものは今はまだ買う気になりませんが、マリメッコらしい華やかな新しいパターンも登場しています。フィンランドブランドですが、やっぱりマリメッコは大好きです。

さっそくH&Mに行って本物の商品を見てきました。いかにもマリメッコ柄でかわいかったです。お値段はH&Mにしては高いけど、マリメッコにしては安いといったところです。大胆な大柄は春から夏にかけてステキに写りそうです。でもほしいと思ったデザインは残念ながらなく、今回はウィンドウショッピングのみとしました。
